A million topics, million stories, short sentences and pictures.

Taught 2 kids to read with them and won that battle against one's short term auditory and visual recall with them.

Many companies make them and they go up to Level 5 (Step into reading) so no "children's" books for older readers.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_7?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=level+5+reading+books+for+children&sprefix=level+5%2Cstripbooks%2C301&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Alevel+5+reading+books+for+childrenfarmwifetwohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02680758336779501712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27817243.post-41751639019907057382014-02-21T04:42:01.769-05:002014-02-21T04:42:01.769-05:00I feel I know so little and the autism hub and you...I feel I know so little and the autism hub and your blogs are thought provoking and I want to learn more. My passion is finding the right tools to help children make sense of the wordy world we are in. I use Abilipad at school - magic for some of my children, ER browser for reduced visual stress and storymaker4 on laptops, stick on lowercase letters on keyboards and sensory space for those worn out afternoons. I feel hesitant to post but will because something may be helpful. I thought maybe it was only in NZ that the education system seemed to work on a frustrating proactive failure model but not so it seems. Good luck with finding the right tool.Susensehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06549727714002076748noreply@blogger.com
