ANother word I hate is "Special," as in "He's just a little special." My best friend and her kids say that because their grandma taught them to say that about people with special needs, thinking it would be more politically correct I guess. Such as, "My neighbor has this son who is special," instead of saying, "My neighbor's son is retarded." But now they always use the term to insult each other, like saying, "Little Bear, why did you do that? What are you, special?"
