 This feature shows the letters of the font Galludet, which is awesome. Learning to fingerspell is fun, and give you an excellent way to communicate without having to make a lot of noise. I recommend learning some basic sign to use as visual prompts for your child, too, even if they are not deaf or have hearing loss.

I don't know anyone in VA, but perhaps Roy Richard Grinker would. I recently had a chance to chat briefly with him at a book signing for his book "Unstrange Minds".
It's a very good book that I just finished reading. In it, Grinker relates having to get a lawyer to go up against the D.C. school system. He might be able to steer you in the right direction. His e-mail addy from his website "unstrangeminds.com" is
