1. The Pigs stole the birds' eggs without asking permission. And they started to get angry. The Yellow Bird got angrier then the blue one. The Red Bird got angrier than the Yellow Bird.
2. They want to get the eggs! (everyone) The Birds have got to trick the Pigs! The Mighty Eagle was there to save the day from the Pigs! The Birds don't want to get hurt!
3. The Next Morning the Pigs Asked permission to get one egg. And the birds said "Yes, you may have ONE egg.

Awesome!!! I love when they write things on their own. I don't care about how fancy it is, how perfect... as long as they did it... it's great.

My youngest has taken about 6mths to truly grasp he can write whatever he wants now at school. No more "today is, we are doing". He sometimes needs you to ask questions to help him think about what to write.

Have you introduced him to the computer? We think the big typing draw for ours is the talk feature on Writing with symbols. He'll write a sentence, replay it, ask for spelling corrections if need it (if it doesn't sound right he knows it isn't spelt right), replay it, type, replay it... he's currently discovered audio books as well.

Just something to consider.

Something to also take with you to those meetings. Proof of what he can do with a little encouragement.
